- Major national Cosmetics company offered our customer, a display manufacturer, the opportunity to produce a large quantity of light box displays on extremely short lead time.
Design Challenge - Crownlite had to work quickly with our customer’s creative, design, and engineering team to develop a lighting system that would produce a superior light box, and that could be manufactured and delivered within the exceptionally short lead time.
Crownlite’s Process - Looking at this project as a partnership between Crownlite and our customer, Crownlite developed a strategy that split the work between us. We produced a complete prewired sub assembly of all UL listed components, that could be quickly installed into the Display manufacturer’s light box. This sub assembly was shipped to our Display manufacturer’s plant where they installed them into their light box and did the packout.
Solution / Result - In partnership with our display customer, Crownlite was able to design, engineer, manufacture, and deliver over 3,000 subassemblies for these light boxes in 3 weeks, meeting this seemingly impossible deadline. Crownlite’s extensive and varied experience in the P.O.P, display, trade show, exhibit, and sign industries allowed us to bring a special awareness of design, product, production, and project management to fulfill this display manufacturer’s retail P.O.P display opportunity.
